Just the Thought of You Can Drive Me Wild

Sat Jan 16, 2010, 2:10 PM
SO, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR EVERYONE. Way to fail on my part for updating, sheesh. Thought I'd get it out of the way though. Hahah.

College has started back up again (AWESOME, I KNOW RIGHT?! ) and I've got a pretty amazing schedule, if I do say so myself. I'm taking 19 credit hours and auditing a 3 credit hour course, and I've got a job working in Undergraduate Admissions. Even though I'm in overload, it's okay because all of it is REALLY easy and manageable, you know? Intro to Computers, Principles of Speech, Choir, Voice Lessons, Design in Crafts, the Visual Fundamentals, Intro to Religion, Wellness are all of my main classes, and the course I'm auditing is called Topics in the History of Art: Walt Disney. :boogie: I'm auditing it because I'm in overload already, and it would cost ridiculous amounts of money to pay for the course, and there was no way I was passing the course up because the professor is only offering it once every couple of years. So, obviously I had to take it considering Disney is pretty much my life (don't comment on the fact that hardly any of my work is Disney, I'm aware) and I'd love to work there in the studio. Hahaha. When I went to the first class as it turns out we're watching a multitude of Disney movies chronologically. I'm like "SCORE!" or more like :w00t: It's from 6-8:45PM, so it's like the perfect ending to my Thursdays. We also have to write a report on the animation and production of a specific Disney movie and I got Aristocats, so I was like "SCORE AGAIN!" only this time it was more like :woohoo: Haha. But yeah, college is going great.

The boyfriend left for boot camp a little earlier than expected, but it's okay because he was so excited to go, and I don't blame him. If you lived in my town you'd be excited to leave too. Unfortunately, he had to send back his address book that the Navy issued him previously because apparently it was too big. Haha. So, he didn't have my address until this week or so. I didn't get his address until last Thursday. Having written tons of letter to him in the few days that he had left, I immediately sent them as fast as I could. But, Stevie only gets to write on Sundays, so it's gonna be a slow process. It's all good though, I find writing letters to be highly romantic (le sigh). Anywho, he gets to call me sometime soon, I can't wait. :D

I've been working on a whole lot of art work right now so you guys should be seeing some of it soon. One is a new ID (Hellz yeah for the New Year), a ton of pictures courtesy of my new camera, and a couple of drawings and such.

Okie dokie, well, that's all I've got to say right now. TTFN.
